Dr. Goulding was born and raised in England before she moved to Cochrane, Alberta at the age of 13. She completed her undergraduate degree in Zoology at the University of Calgary before entering into the Veterinary program at the University of Saskatchewan. She graduated in 1994 and returned to Calgary. She has worked her entire career in Associate Veterinary Clinics, spending 12 years at Calgary North Veterinary Hospital before starting at Shawnessy South. Fiona and her husband have two beautiful girls (greater swiss mountain dogs) 'Tegan' and 'Spazzy Taz'.

"Being a Veterinarian is the best and the worst job as the highs and lows can bring you to tears, but I cannot imagine doing anything else. Clients and patients become friends and family and for that, I am eternally grateful".
