Tracie grew up in North Battleford, SK as one of three triplets. She studied biology at the University of Saskatchewan before her admission into the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. She graduated from WCVM in 2005 and started working in a mixed animal practice in Cochrane, AB. After 3 years, she decided to focus her work solely on small animals. Tracie did one year of emergency medicine with Associate Veterinary Clinics before joining the Shawnessy South Pet Hospital in October 2009. She has a special interest in emergency and internal medicine.

In her spare time, Tracie enjoys hiking, camping and yoga. Tracie lives in Cochrane with her husband, cat "Bree" and Jack Russell "Tilly".

Tracie and her family are very excited to announce that they are expecting a beautiful baby in February of 2012! She will be away on Maternity leave from February 2012 for 1 year. We wish her all the best!
